Mural concepts and explorations
A series of client work and pieces to explore and challenge myself. I love to try and bring a magical quality to my illustration and playing with type is one of my favorite aspects of design, whether digital or ink and paper.
Sketch to vector

One of my favorite applications for lettering is on windows. It’s a great way for businesses to grab the attention of passersby and it makes for a fun challenge translating digital sketches to large scale hand-drawn formatting.

While I enjoy playing with multiple lettering styles, I gravitate towards script and calligraphic inspiration in my lettering.
I love turning my designs into stickers. There is something so special about having something that started as a pencil sketch fully realized and stuck to the back of someone’s laptop or water bottle.

Playing with a variety of mediums and applications

Pointed pen calligraphy is both a therapeutic hobby and a means of better understanding letter and type construction. Each stroke takes precision and consistency, and as with any art form, repetition is key.
